Description (anglais) : In 1617, acrowd attacked the body of the murdered maréchal d'Ancre. Several hundred rioters dug up the hastily buried body, dragged it around the streets, stopping at the traditional sites of executions, went through the motions of the official form of public penance called 'amende honorable' in front of the Bastille.
