Description (langue originale) : Émeute frumentaire à Naples suite à l'augmentation relative des prix du pain résultant de la décision par le conseil municipale de réduire le poids des miches de pain sans en changer le bruit. Un conseiller municipal, Giovan Vincenzo Storace, est arrêté en pleine rue par la foule le 8 mai 1585 et lapidé à mort.
Description (anglais) : After the city council mandated a reduction in the size of the standard loaf of bread without decreasing its prices, the popular anger grew in the Naples. On 8 May 1585, the crowd intercepted city-council member, Giovan Vincenzo Storace, and brought him backwards through the street in a raucous procession. Storace is killed on the way by the various porjectiles thrown by the crowd.
