Description (anglais) : Wheat prices reached wartime peaks during spring 1812, 126 s. per quarter in May, which fueled discontent in industrial areas. On 24 and 25 March 1812, a crowd of machine-breakers entered in woolen mills in Leeds and its surroundings and destroyed shearing frames.
