The aim of this international conference was to confront experiences that stem from the collaboration of specialists in new information and communication technologies and of specialists in cultural heritage data (historians, researchers in the fields of scientific edition and genetics, linguists). The main theme of the conference was the structuring and tagging of corpora that deal with cultural heritage: the practices, results, epistemological issues and interest of these innovative strategies for the understanding and valorizing of our cultural heritage were considered. The conference was organized by members of the UCBN who are involved in social sciences projects centred on "electronic documents" within the State-Region project contract, with the collaboration of researchers from Nancy, Rouen and Tours.
