Armelle Parey is a senior lecturer at the Université de Caen Normandie. Her interests embrace narrative endings, memory and rewritings of the past in contemporary English-speaking fiction, with a special emphasis on the neo-Victorian novel. She has co-directed four collections of essays on the question of narrative closure and is planning a monograph on the topic. She is co-organizing a symposium on “ Last pages, last shots” to be held in Caen in October 2017. She is currently co-editing a collection of essays on A. S. Byatt to be published at the end of the year at the Presses universitaires de Nancy-Editions de Lorraine.
