Reaching Caen : Caen is located in the north west of France, approximately 220km from Paris, close to Chanel sea shore. The easiest way to come for most participants will be to reach Paris (by flight or train) and then take a train to Caen from Saint Lazare train station. There are trains to Caen approximately every 2 hours, and the from 6am till 8pm.

By Boat:

The Ouistreham Harbour (15km from Caen) has connection with Porthsmouth three times a day during summer time. It is connected to Caen by buses.

By Plane :

Few flights connect Caen with Paris or Lyon each day. There are also flights to London afew times per weekµ.   It is usually cheaper to fly to Paris and then reach Caen by train. From Caen airport, you can take a bus to the city center or a taxi. If you land in Paris, either in Charles de Gaulle airport or in Orly airport,   notice that it will take you around 1h – 1h30 to reach Saint Lazare train station in the center of Paris.

Some low cost companies land in Beauvais, which is away from Paris. You will have to take a bus to reach the Porte Maillot in Paris (approximately 1h15 minutes)
